My heart is beating (2012) - Music Review

My Heart Is Beating (2012)
Music: Michael Makkal
CAST: Hemanth, Rajitha
Another movie audio released, with a new music director on the block. Even the actors are not familiar. However the album in-lay card shows all familiar singer names. Didnt hear of Michael Makkal before. That shouldnt matter for the album. Atleast his choice of singers attracted me to listen to the songs. How Michael did for this yet another supposedly love story movie ( atleast the title suggests ). Seven songs in an album should really add value to the film for this kind of movies. This kind of films will definitely need lot of help from music department. Need to see how much value Michael added to this film.
My Heart Is Beating
Artist(s): Karthik, Pranavi
It looked like a promising start, with a nice smooth piano/key board tune, and Karthik starting it off. However after that there is some issue in synchronization of voice and instrumentation. Both didn't sync well. Adding Guitar complicated further. Somehow all three went in different paths ( singers and orchestra). Felt Pranavi struggled and her accent was artificial. Michael couldn't succeed in this song to impress.
Happy Happy Ga
Artist(s): Hemachandra
once again a good start. For a moment feared the fate of the song, however this was much better. Hemachandra is still not consistent with his voice. Main quality of singer is to make impression or identity with his voice, but new age singers due to many reasons are not able to achieve that. However he did good justice to this song. Except for excessive dragging of ga, ra, which was little way too long at a times not sounding bettter. Michael did a lot better in this song. This songs goes on fine. No further issues. Lyrics are apt.
Ipudipude Edola Avutondi  Naakila
Artist(s): Hemachandra
Hemachandra sounded entirely different in this song compared to the earlier song. Good attempt by Michael to give a melody. However he has to work on orchestration. Some disturbance when trying to listen the singer. Few tracks didn't go well dominating the singer. The rhythm by itself didn't add value to the song. Interludes. All the three songs have really nice starts, but some how he is getting lost in execution of the complete song. May be experience will let him learn. Any melody needs to be singer oriented and instruments should assist the singer to elevate the song. Hemachandra and lyrics are highlight for this song.
Speedune Motham Penchyseye
Artist(s): Joanna Sirlin
Any song sung in english or telugu or any language is fine. you can mix any number of languages but  trying to sound one language as other language doesn't appeal much. There is similarity to the way maha maha song is sung. Who knows this might be a hit too. Nothing much to say about this song.
Gathamanta Ika Karigindi
Artist(s): Deepu, Geetha Madhuri
This song has disconnectivity the way it started and the way male singer started. Something is missing in this song. Deepu sang it fine, tune was not bad. Somehow doesn't appeal much. Geeta madhuri has got very less footage in this song. Not sure she would have added anything much to the song.

 Thana Kosame Vachanane
Artist(s): Karthik
Love based movies should have one pathos before climax. Guess this is that one song. It is a situational song, could suit well for the movie.  Karthik does justice. lyrics are apt. Song goes such a way the we think song is done, but there its starts again with another stanza.
Kalaalu Aagelaa
Artist(s): Chitra, Sri Krishna

Is it female time now for a patho? This song sounded lot better just because of singers were able to express. Chitra's fantastic rendering is well supported by Sri Krishna. Though it was sung on a sad note, poeple who like sad songs will embrace this song.
My Heart Is Beating (Theme Song)
Theme songs instrumentation version. Could be coming in bits and pieces in movie. Unless seen in movie cant say much how it works.

Pick(s) of the Album: Ippudippude, Happy Happy Gaa, Kaalalu Aagelaa

Though this music cannot grab people to the movie, but it was just sufficient this genre of movies. The team should be commended making decent attempt with good choice of singers and decent lyrics, not over doing anything. Now it is up-to the cast and the crew of the movie to decide the fate of the movie. Somehow couldn't get the information of who wrote the lyrics.
