Love Failure (2012) Movie - Music Review

‘Love failure ‘ , siddarths maiden venture as the producer in which Siddarth himself is playing the lead role and Amala paul is female lead. This movie is simultaneously getting released in Tamil(Kadhalil Sodhappuvadhu Eppadi in Tamil) and Telugu. Ace producer Dil Raju will be presenting this movie in Telugu. Balaji Mohan is making debut as the director for the film where Thaman is composing music. This movie is developed based on a short film which is available on youtube. This story is expanded to fit into a movie by adding all elements.

Thaman whose name is getting heard in all the movies lately, has composed for this movie too. I will not go into details of whether any tune is an inspired tune or copied tune or repeated tune or intelligently adapted. If I start doing that, then it goes nowhere. This applies to entire album. Even though there are only 4 songs. Inthajaare is repeated reducing the count by one song. If I repeat or discuss, I will become another Thaman writing the same stuff again and again.

Parvathi Parvathi

Lyricist: Srimani 

Sidharth is one of the multi talented actor in telugu industry. He earlier lent his voice to few songs, Bommarillu's appudo ippudo was notable song. Though he performed that song at ease, but Devi Sri Prasad's clever mixing of the song and intelligently highlighting his positives made that song hit. However in this song, he goes up and down. Srimani's lyrics are not up-to mark. He just tried to fill in words to the tune. America ni kanukkundi columbus uu, ee premaki evaru cheppalede syllabus,, not sure there is any relation other than rhyming of "bus".. "Memu love failure" again puzzles with hard to find the correctness. Anything told by cine folks is acceptable now a days. People started thinking this is correct. ( Like Guns don't need agreement caption ) Even though the orchestration is heavy and loud which is trade mark of Thaman, this song clearly is loud. This should be smooth and soft for these type of songs. Whatever it is the song still catches every ones ears and makes a mark. 

Inthajare Inthajare

Lyricist: Srimani

Karthik was life saver in another movie of Thaman and he does again. This song is all by Karthik and  will be listened for him. Thank God, Thaman doesn't use his magic wand to change Karthik's voice which is saving grace, may be Thaman already realized that. This song is very catchy, melody filled added with huskiness of Suchitra. Interludes are well done. Some of them are heavily inspired. Any love related movies the heart of the movie will be the success of music and the reach to the youth. This song has all the qualities of it except for originality. A quality lyrics would have taken this to a greater heights, but that's ok, this song is at a reasonable height.

Happy Heart Attack

One more from Sidharth. Rendered better than the initial song could be because chorus helped him. Youth will embrace this song very well. Cricket and Love are the good points to connect with Youth. Because song is everything about love. Told in a different way by Srimani. May that's the modern day and age definition of love. The interludes remind me a patriotic song.

Melukora Melukora

After hearing three songs, Thaman realized that people might have realized that there is a real chance people will forget him. To fill that gap, he decides to sing this song himself and his own self. There are hundreds of singers who are in need of job, sparing a song for them wouldn't hurt him. If he seriously wants to pursue singing career, he badly needs Telugu lessons. Because its not "మంచు తేరా", It is "మంచు తెర". Not only this song but all songs have serious issues with Telugu words. He should have let this song also either to Karthik or Sidharth. He really made mess of this song.

Repeat of the song, absolutely not a problem can hear one more time.

Thaman must have a ready made tool or might have got all his tunes stored somewhere, before he decided to work for films. With the pace he is doing the songs definitely cannot produce quality, originality and variety, which is what we are seeing today. However he is meeting the requirements of whomever he is working with. On the top people are embracing him with awards. So I don't see any change in his pattern of music. This music again meets perfectly the movie's requirement, with catchy and youthful tunes. I am still waiting for a decent album, with original tunes from Thaman. I hope it is not very far away.
